Amanda manages and updates calendars of companies and news, rewrites news and reports from Singapore financial publications and rating agencies and provides daily press reviews for Asia Core Credit. Prior to joining Reorg Amanda was a digital copywriter at RGE Pte Ltd. She has a B.A. in media and communications from the University of Melbourne.
Based in Hong Kong, Anna edits and writes stories covering restructuring and high-yield credits in China and elsewhere in Asia. Before joining Reorg, she was Asia Bureau Chief for The American Lawyer magazine and covered the legal industry for eight years. She has an M.A. in Financial Journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University.
Dipika covers topical distressed situations and helps expand Asia Core Credit coverage in India. Prior to joining Reorg Dipika was a senior correspondent at NewsRise Financial Research & Information Services LLP. She has an M.M.S. in finance and financial management services from the Oriental Institute of Management, Vashi, and a B.Com. in banking and insurance, banking, corporate, finance and securities law from V.G.Vaze college.
Gurdev handles write-ups of key corporate announcements and news coverage out of India, and from companies in the broader Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Reorg, he was an assistant news editor at NewsRise Financial Research & Information Services, with previous stints covering equities for Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. He has a B.Com in accountancy from Mumbai University.
Jeff is responsible for all legal analysis produced by Asia Core Credit. His analysis typically considers credit structures, cross-border restructuring, insolvency, recovery options and enforcement strategies involving high yield and distressed credits across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Reorg, Jeff practiced in the financial restructuring team at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld and at Walkers in their insolvency and dispute resolution team. He has an LLB from the College of Law - London, an M.A. in political science from University College London and a B.A. in history from King’s College London.
Katherine is a senior researcher for Asia Core Credit covering the real estate sector and high yield bond market. Prior to joining Reorg, Katherine had worked at various media organizations including Shanghai Media Group among others while covering the equity market and international public affairs. She has an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelors’ degree from New York University.
Ken covers distressed and high-yield credit names from Hong Kong for Asia Core Credit. Prior to joining Reorg, Ken worked in Moody’s and PwC where he focused on credit analysis and restructuring advisory practice. He has a bachelor degree in business administration from the University of Hong Kong.
Leon covers distressed debt names and situations from Singapore for Asia Core Credit. Prior to joining Reorg Leon was an associate analyst focusing on high-yield bonds covenant analysis for Moody’s. He has a degree in Finance from INSEAD and a degree in accountancy and business from Nanyang Technological University.
Malvika covers high-yield and distressed credits on the news side for Asia Core Credit. Prior to joining Reorg, Malvika was a senior reporter at REDD Intelligence and has also worked with Mint and Business Standard newspapers in Mumbai. Before turning journalism, she worked as an equity analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Reporting into Managing Director - International Credit, Shasha helps oversee the Asia operations. Prior to that, she led the China coverage. Prior to joining Reorg Shasha founded Dai1 Media, a subscription news service acquired by Reorg in 2019 that helped solve the issue of a lack of dedicated, reliable source of information and insight about private transactions in Greater China. She has an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University and an M.A. in economics from the University of International Business and Economics.
Stephen manages all Asia Core Credit analysts and reporters and oversees their coverage of high-yield, stressed and distressed debt situations across Asia. Prior to joining Reorg, Stephen was an editor at Debtwire, where he focused on loan syndications and private equity. He has an M.A. in English creative writing (fiction) from San Francisco State University and a B.Sc. in sociology with social administration from Loughborough University.
