Alix monitors distressed situations across the industry, reports on case developments, prepares long-form analysis of legal developments with a special focus on Puerto Rico and serves as an editor for Americas Core Credit. Prior to joining Reorg Alix was an associate attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where she practiced corporate restructuring and insolvency law. She has a J.D. from Fordham University and a B.A. in psychology from Wheaton College (Massachusetts).
Hoa covers the municipal bond market at Reorg. Her business reporting and writing has appeared in CoinDesk and ABA Banking Journal. A native of Hanoi, Vietnam, Hoa holds a master’s degree in magazine and digital storytelling from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and French from Mount Holyoke College.
Patrick covers in-court and out-of-court restructurings and distressed situations, with a specific focus on Puerto Rico, for Americas Core Credit. Prior to joining Reorg Patrick clerked for two U.S. bankruptcy judges, Judge John E. Waites (DSC) and Judge Arthur J. Gonzalez (Southern District of New York). He has an LL.M. in bankruptcy from St. John's University, a J.D. from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. in communication from the College of Charleston.
