Luxembourg-based metals and mining group Metalcorp’s cash and cash equivalents have fallen to €46 million as of Sept. 30 from €70.9 million on June 30, management said during a call with investors this afternoon. Cash was €89.5 million on Dec. 31.

The decline was driven by €12 million of working capital swings, €4.9 million of interest paid on the 2022 bonds and €8 million spent on financing its operations in Guinea. Metalcorp added that it needs between €35 million and €40 million of cash...
