K&N Engineering, a manufacturer of air filters, exhaust kits and intake systems for the automotive aftermarket, is grappling with an ongoing cash burn and sluggish EBITDA growth, according to sources. K&N’s inability to generate enough cash flow to fund the move of its production facilities to Texas from California has made it difficult for the company to lower labor costs, the sources said.
