Financing

Kartesia has provided a unitranche line amounting to €40 million to €70 million to back Dutch skincare clinic Cosmetique Totale’s growth strategy, sources told Reorg. The unitranche includes an acquisition line, the sources said.

The group will use the financing to facilitate buy-and-build acquisitions in Western and Northern Europe focusing on independent skin clinics and chains, according to a press release.

Cosmetique Totale is a portfolio company of private equity firm BB Capital Investments, which acquired a majority stake in the company in 2020.

Founded in 2004, the company provides therapy and laser treatments to treat skin problems. Since BB Capital’s investment, Cosmetique Totale doubled its number of sites from 200 to 400 through acquisitions including Belgian group Laserontharing.be, according to the release.
