A group of Casino’s 2026 and 2027 bondholders has been working with Perella Weinberg with the aim of engaging with the French retailer over its planned merger with Teract. The group, which includes five funds so far, is supportive of the announced deal and would like to engage with Casino to elevate its claims in exchange for its support to effect the transaction, sources said.
