Concerns about Talen Energy’s hedge positions have intensified as power prices in the PJM Interconnection have held at near their highest levels this year, according to sources. PJM Western Hub Peak Calendar Month futures for April 2022 are currently trading at $55.75/MWh, compared with about $43/MWh at the start of the year and a contract high of $58/MWh seen in early February.
