Ian covers the early stages of chapter 11 restructurings and maintains a database of filings for First Day. Prior to joining Reorg, Ian was a researcher for the Advisory Committee on Investor Responsibility at the New School, where he conducted research on the university’s endowment and on the efficacy of fossil fuel divestment. He has an M.A. in economics from the New School for Social Research and a B.S. in economics from Suffolk University.

Jessica manages coverage of in-court and out-of-court restructurings and distressed situations for First Day. Prior to joining Reorg, Jessica was an associate in the restructuring and bankruptcy group at Otterbourg, where she represented stakeholders in all aspects of reorganizations, liquidations and distressed situations. She has a J.D. from Fordham University and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
